Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 July 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and Lullim (“Lullim”, “we”, “us”) covering your use of the Lullim personal organizer app and this website (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

How we handle your personal data is described separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Questions about anything here can go to contact@lullim.com.

The Service

Lullim is a personal organizer. Depending on which parts you turn on, it can hold your tasks and weekly goals, calendar events, notebooks, quick-capture thoughts, journal entries, focus and Pomodoro sessions, screen-time goals, expenses and budgets, tracked subscriptions, and important dates. It can also show your Google Calendar alongside your own events if you choose to connect it.

Lullim is a tool for organising your own life. It is not financial, medical, legal, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for professional help. Anything the app shows you about your spending, screen time, or wellbeing is there to help you notice patterns, not to advise you.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Lullim. By using the Service you confirm that you are, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Your account

You can create an account with your first name, email address, and a password, or by signing in with Google. We verify your email address with a one-time code before your account is fully active.

To protect accounts, we may temporarily lock sign-in after repeated failed attempts. This is a security measure, not a penalty, and it lifts on its own.

Free trial, subscriptions, and billing

The free trial

New accounts get a free trial of 14 days with full access to the Service. We do not ask for a credit card to sign up, and nothing is charged during the trial. The trial is offered once per person.

Subscribing

When the trial ends, continuing to use the Service requires a paid subscription. The current price, currency, and billing interval are shown in the app before you pay and again on the checkout page. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge that amount to your payment method each billing period.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details; Stripe handles them under its own terms and security standards. Prices are exclusive of any taxes unless stated otherwise, and you are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.

Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Each renewal is charged to your payment method on or around the renewal date shown in your account.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we keep your access on during a grace period of about one week while the payment is retried automatically. During that window the app will warn you, and you can update your card or retry the payment yourself at any time. If the payment still hasn’t gone through by the end of the grace period, your account is paused: you can still sign in and see your account, but the app is otherwise locked until payment succeeds. Your content is not deleted when an account is paused.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Account in the app. Cancelling stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the account is paused until you subscribe again. You can undo a pending cancellation before the period ends.

Refunds

Payments are for the billing period they cover, and we don’t generally give refunds for partial periods or for time you didn’t use. This does not limit any rights you have under consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law. If something has gone wrong with a charge, email contact@lullim.com and we’ll look at it fairly.

Price changes

We may change our prices. If a change affects your subscription, we will give you reasonable notice by email or in the app before it takes effect, and it will apply from your next billing period. If you don’t want to continue at the new price, you can cancel before it applies.

Your content

Everything you put into Lullim, from your tasks and notes to your journal entries and expenses, stays yours. We claim no ownership of it.

You give us a limited licence to store, copy, transmit, and display your content strictly as needed to operate the Service for you: to save it, sync it to your devices, back it up, and show it back to you. That licence exists only so the Service can work, and it ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not sell your content, use it for advertising, or use it to train models.

You are responsible for the content you add, including having the right to store it and making sure it is lawful. We recommend keeping your own copies of anything you can’t afford to lose.

Acceptable use

When using Lullim, don’t:

Third-party services

Lullim relies on third parties to work, including Stripe for payments, Google for optional sign-in and read-only Google Calendar access, and our hosting and database providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for how they operate.

Connecting Google is optional and read-only: Lullim displays your calendar events and never writes to, changes, or deletes anything in your Google Calendar. You can disconnect at any time from Account → Connections. What we do with Google data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep Lullim available and reliable, but we don’t promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, and issues at our providers can cause downtime. We may add, change, or remove features over time. If we make a change that materially reduces the core functionality you’re paying for, we’ll give you reasonable notice and you may cancel.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Lullim at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its content by emailing contact@lullim.com. Deletion is permanent and removes the content associated with your account, so cancel any active subscription first and export anything you want to keep.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, if your use puts the Service or other users at risk, or if we are required to by law. Where it’s reasonable to do so, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to put things right. If we terminate your account without cause, we’ll refund the unused portion of your current billing period.

Disclaimers

Except for guarantees that cannot be excluded by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your particular requirements.

Consumer rights and limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term or condition, that cannot lawfully be excluded, including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Where our liability for failing to comply with a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited (at our option) to resupplying the Service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

Subject to the paragraph above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

General

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the courts able to hear appeals from them. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law where you live.
